Objective

·         My objective is to find gainful employment with the best players & touring worldwide providing the best entertainment possible from an authentic Blues Band.

Experience

1 .1998-2006 Anson Funderburgh and The Rockets     Plano, TX ·     Winning W. C. Handy awards for both CD’s recorded during my tenure co-writing 7 songs on the last CD, "Which Way Is Texas?" (May 2004) for Best Traditional Blues Album

1966-2006 Keyboards for 40 years, professionally, & for 37 years on Clarinet, Saxophone & Flute

First recording with the Sands from Bamberg, S.C. in 1969

Recorded with all the R & B Tampa Bay groups for 20 years

Musician 50 years  (since I was 8 years old)
Piano Tuning: 30 years
Electronics Technician: 33 years
Computer Technician: 14 years
Sound Engineer:  32 years
Stage Manager: 25 years
Licensed Communications Technician:  7 years
Managed my own music store "The Music CoOp" for 2 years
3 years of "Bringe Music" electronic repairs.

And while all this was going on I spent 35 years performing in all musical areas. This includes musical director for off Broadway productions,  stage managing, production managing, sound engineering, guitar tech, keyboard tech, complete electronics tech, and player for national & international touring acts, recording on dozens of albums including personal projects, & basically making myself as self sufficient as  humanly possible. I have also developed extensive abilities for dealing with the eccentricities of major star-quality musicians & technicians all over the world. Stage Manager for the '87-'89 Gregg Allman Band Tour was my last major touring tech work. Audio for Casio's first infomercial  1996 was my last nationally affiliated work in Florida. Many Scandinavian tours playing traditional blues with Rock Bottom (Parsifal Artist) & a stint with The Gregg Allman Band have been highlights during my 18 years there. I moved to Texas in 1998 & started work with Anson Funderburgh & The Rockets featuring Sam Myers. Since Sam's passing in 2006, I have taken the position on keys with Andrew "Jr Boy" Jones and we are touring successfully worldwide.
